Do you wish that 100% of your board members would make a gift to your organization each year and that they would step up to help you with fundraising? This presentation will walk you through how to engage your board members as donors, community ambassadors for your organization, and active partners in fundraising – including many important ways they can help without “making the ask.” The key: helping them to realize that they already have the ability and tools to be effective fundraisers.

Tune in during your lunch hour and bring any questions for Amy Blumenthal, Vice President of Ter Molen Watkins & Brandt, as we learn new ways to engage our board members as inspired partners in fundraising.

A zoom link will be provided after registration.

Amy Blumenthal - Vice President - Ter Molen Watkins & Brandt | LinkedInSpeaker Bio : Amy Blumenthal’s consulting work draws on knowledge gained through a 25-year fundraising career. Her experience includes fundraising, campaign planning, and implementation, development communications, and board and volunteer development with the Milwaukee Jewish Federation, Marquette University, the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee (where she coordinated the strategy and infrastructure for a successful $100 million capital campaign), and the University of Virginia. She was fortunate to spend seven years early in her career at U.Va., one of the top university development teams in the country. Together, they successfully completed a $1 billion capital campaign (U.Va. was the first public university in the country to reach this milestone) and Amy learned the best practices that have informed her work ever since.
